How we measure our pieces and how we describe their condition.

How we measure
All dimensions are measured by hand on the piece itself and given in centimetres. Small deviations are possible. Unless stated otherwise, we measure at the widest, deepest and highest point.

- Width, from left to right at the widest point
- D
- Depth, from front to back at the deepest point
- H
- Height, from the floor to the highest point
- SH
- Seat height, from the floor to the top of the seat (seating)
- AH
- Arm height, from the floor to the top of the armrest (seating)
- Ø
- Diameter (round tables, lamps, shades)
Before you buy
Please check that the piece will fit through doors, stairwells and lifts on its way to its new place. For lamps, we state the type of socket and whether the wiring is original where we know it.
Condition rating
Every piece is examined by us and rated on the following scale. The item description explains the rating in detail and mentions any repairs, replaced parts or restorations.
